As we move into 2018, I encourage you to leave behind the notion of resolutions and instead embrace intention in your life. Resolutions often revolve around things we think we should be doing, rather than what genuinely brings us joy and supports our wellbeing. They can also lead to self-judgment and self-loathing if we get off track.
Living with intention gives us space to evolve over time and makes allowances for experimentation and error. It encourages us to accept ourselves with compassion as we are in the present. From this space, we can begin to make lasting change.
