Gentle Flow Yoga is a new online class that runs on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 8:30-9:10pm. This is offered via Zoom. Once you are booked, I will send you a link and instructions on how to join.
During class we will flow through a series of yoga postures while focusing on our breathing. The postures change weekly depending on the theme.
The final ten minutes of class are dedicated to relaxation, which is guided verbally by me.
You do not need to have any experience with yoga to join in. Modifications and alternatives will be offered so everyone can practice at their own pace.
Pregnant and postnatal women are welcome to join as long as they have been cleared by their doctor or midwife. Please contact me beforehand so I can best support you.
This is a great way to look after yourself and tend to your energy. This is essential for everyone’s continued health and well-being, especially if you have others to support in your life.
There are many more benefits to regularly practicing Gentle Flow Yoga:
- Lowered stress and anxiety
- Better sleep
- Improved posture
- Increased strength
- Better balance
- Increased flexibility
- Emotional regulation tools
- Improved mental clarity and focus
- Connection to a supportive community
This class will run on a donation-based sliding scale with a suggested donation of £4. No one will be turned away if they can’t pay. I know people are on limited income right now, so those of you who can pay are supporting those who aren’t able to.
I intend to offer this class in person at the Kirkcudbright Community Centre when it is time for us to gather together again.
